Lg g2 x moto x full#The HTC One, Galaxy S4, Nexus 5, and LG G2 all have Full HD, 1920 x 1080 pixel screens that hover around 5-inches. It still looks fantastic, especially because Motorola takes advantage of the deep blacks of its AMOLED screen, but Moto X doesn’t pack nearly as many pixels as everyone else. Unfortunately, the Moto X comes out at the bottom of the stack with a 1280 x 720 pixel 4.8-inch screen. This, for once, is a pretty simple category. It takes a very different approach, and we consider it a worthy entrant and a high-end phone, despite what some say. Lg g2 x moto x pro#The X8 chipset has a Snapdragon S4 Pro inside it, but it also has dedicated processors for motion, graphics, and other sensors. The X has a new kind of chipset that’s broken into eight cores. The Moto X does lose this category, but only because we’re looking at sheer processing power. Overall, the LG G2 seems to be the fastest device we’ve used, but the Nexus 5 is highly comparable. The Quadrant test, and others, show the LG G2 to be far-and-away the winner, and we’d stand by that ruling. Both run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processors, which are an older model of the higher-end Snapdragon 800 processors in the Nexus 5 and LG G2. HTC One and Galaxy S4 are disadvantaged because they came out right before summer. There are some things we do know, however. Both Samsung and HTC are accused of messing with benchmark test results on their phones, and it’s impossible to say if LG, Google, and Motorola (also Google) aren’t doing the same. In short: all five of these phones are plenty powerful and would be at the top of the pile no matter what mobile device you compared them against. We’ll give you the short and the long on this. The geekiest, and most obvious way to compare phones is straight horsepower … err, processing power. Here’s a detailed look at how they stack up, along with a full spec comparison table to compare all the little bits. Lg g2 x moto x android#(Trust us, we read the comments.) But what happens when you pull iPhone out of the equation and make it all about Android? Which Android phone is the best? We put the Samsung Galaxy S4, LG G2, HTC One, Motorola Moto X, and Google Nexus 5 side-by-side (by-side-by-side-by-side). We know mobile phone users are an opinionated bunch and can argue iOS vs. Since the phones use very different technologies, that's a tough one to speculate right now. One true test, as always, is how well the G2's 13-megapixel shooter compares with the One's 4-megapixel "Ultrapixel" camera. Goldilocks phone: The Moto X and its 4.7-inch screen flanked by the Galaxy S4 and the iPhone 5. The One's slightly older Android version seems like a downer, but note that it's also upgradable to Android 4.2.2, which brings it in line with the G2 and the others. The One definitely delivers on this promise. Since the One's display is smaller than the G2's, expect fine text and images to look a bit clearer and sharper. Lg g2 x moto x 1080p#Like the G2, HTC's One has a 1080p HD LCD screen. The One's smaller screen won't make it much more pocketable, since it's a heavier device with similar dimensions. Made from aluminum, it is sharp in all senses of the word. HTC's One is still the most premium, physically stunning handset you can buy. Lg g2 x moto x plus#In addition, LG is also promoting a crystal-clear LCD display and high-definition sound (HTC claims these, too) plus a slew of interface enhancements that let you do some neat tricks, like double tapping the screen to lock and unlock it, instead of pushing a button. This is really the most unusual design element, and the item that I suspect potential buyers will think about most beyond price when weighing high-end Android options. The most compelling.or repelling.or let's just say polarizing feature in my opinion is LG's decision to put the G2's control on the back panel beneath the camera lens. Yet, these are smaller claims in the grand scheme of things, hardly the killer feature that will sway a person to buy the G2 over any of the others. Yes, the G2's screen may be a bit bigger and sport an edge-to-edge design, and yes, it's one of the first phones to debut Qualcomm's even faster Snapdragon 800 processor. Like its arch rival the Samsung Galaxy S4, it has a supersensitive display you can operate with gloves, and an IR blaster to control the TV. It boasts Android 4.2.2, a 13-megapixel camera with a ton of effects, a humongous 1080p HD screen, and a really, really fast quad-core processor. In a lot of ways, LG's new G2 is another superphone that's very similar to its top Android competitors. ** Available in 32GB, 64GB in some markets.
